I ordered this one week before I'd have to go in and take the CSET Multiple Subjects exam. I planned to take all three parts on the same day and I had no preparation going in except for this book. Obviously I could not utilize as much of it in that time as I would have liked. But what I did read was actually on the test, and had I not picked up this book I can definitely say I would have failed the exam. There were sections about linguistic terminology that, frankly, I wasn't even aware of until I read this book's chapter about it. The history section is also a good refresher if you've forgotten a lot of what you might have learned a long time ago and need a quick rundown centered around what will probably be on the test. And sure enough, the parts that I read about were included as essay questions in the actual exam. Perhaps I was just lucky, but at the very least I can say that in hindsight studying from this book did not feel like a waste of time at all. Would recommend this.

So many times I have taken and failed the cset. I have so many other books so I thought I would try this one out. I passed. Is it the book? Maybe. But if I knew this last year when I started taking these tests I would have just gotten this book. It’s laid out well, has many items it goes over, has quizzes, helps you with essays. But I’m gonna be honest, the edsays they give you in the book are nowhere near the essays on the actual test. I’ve been asked so many random questions, you really need to read everything.
Don't waste your money on anything else. I bought other guides and ended up throwing them away- I know I should have returned them.This guide is fantastic. It is so comprehensive and has so many samples tests. The only improvement that I would suggest is that there are sections of the guide that do not have enough detail on terms and concepts that are mentioned, in the context of general topics. I ended up doing a lot of individual research to make my studies more robust.In retrospect, I could not have passed my CSET tests without this guide. I'm so grateful to the people who rated this product, which helped me decide to buy it.
This book helped me pass subset 1 and 3, but i felt very unprepared for subset 2.
This has helped me sooooo much! It truly has prepared me to take the CSET and I feel super confident! Do not take any of the expensive courses they offer at colleges just buy this book and you are set to go!
I heard about this book in one of my preservice classes, and without it, I would not have been able to pass my tests! I love how they have explanations for all of the answers and different versions of practice tests. I tried many online sites first, but this was by far the most helpful resource I used.

Purchased 2 of these for daughters Christmas. They have a really nice feel to them. Very soft. Very pretty design. Nicely embossed.The lettering is nice sized. Something I’m comfortable reading. Has lots of references and several maps in the back. Has a nice place marker ribbon. The girls have gotten several compliments and inquiries about where it was bought.
I was thrilled that when I typed "Large Print KJV" into my Amazon search, this beautiful Bible popped up. My reference size Bible is falling apart & getting hard to read. I was VERY disappointed when I opened it to find it the exact same font as my larger Bible, but w/out the spacing between the paragraphs, making it harder to read. Better for portability, I get & like that, but I thought Comfort Print meant a 10 or 12 point font, not the name for a different typeface. My mistake & I'll have to regretfully return it as it would strain my eyes more than they are being now.
This Bible has errors in it and I am not happy about that. Image reading the word of God and finding errors in your Bible.I'm happy that I have some knowledge of what actually happened so as to know that Jacob did not have a son named JUDAS and that JERMY was not a prophet in the BibleI purchased 2 Bibles and they both has the same errors.
My daughter needed a KJV Bible for school. I found this one due to pretty cover but the red lettering is what sealed the deal. The paper is good quality. The cover is sturdy but soft. Very please with this decision.
This was a lovely Bible but I returned it as I wanted larger print. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

This bible is beautiful! We ordered it for my daughter and it's perfect. The cover is so soft and pretty and the lettering and pages are great. I was a little hesitant because of the complaints of tiny print but I'm so glad I chose this one. It's perfect!

This is such a great book for all women to read.. Many of us fall under the same patterns that Martha did, but in this world the Lord calls us to be more like Mary, sitting at the throne and allowing Him to pour into us and love us and mold us. I recommend this to any woman who is constantly on the go and feels the need to always be busy to feel validated; I know this is me many times.
This book is more than a guide to "Finding Intimacy With God in the Busyness of Life." I'd call it "A Woman's Introduction to Christian Living and Spiritual Disciplines." It covers the spiritual disciplines of Bible study, hospitality, prayer, and several others. At times, the analogies seemed a bit forced, and the messages are repeated over and over. But sometimes, I think we need that repetition to get things through our thick (or just tired) minds. I picked up Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Finding Intimacy With God in the Busyness of Life during a time when I was completely overwhelmed, but I didn't read it until a time when I was free from care. It's sad that when we're swamped, we feel like we lack the bandwidth to do what our souls really need.

I will be teaching from this book in an entire weeklong class (in a few weeks) and I can't wait!!! Great spiritual material with a well thought out message.

So much minimalism is written by single men who live on the road. This book got into the mechanics of minimalism for people who live with other people. She also helps you get through different rooms.
Simple to read and practical. Many books in this genre have a better-than-thou tone. Not here. Kim’s book has a kind/encouraging tone and was easy to read. Her tips were practical and flexible, I definitely got done good advice from this book, and I’ve been reaseaching a simpler more streamline lifestyle for my young family for a while. Well worth the read.
It has good tips and some great foundational stuff but it’s for families with older kids. Not relatable for toddler life imo.
This book lived up to my expectations and I've read a lot of simple living/minimalism books. Zoe does a great job of walking you through each area of your home and how you can declutter and simplify. There are tons of practical tips that are doable and relevant for todays' families. While it is a book about families, it can just as easily apply to someone single or a a couple. The tips on doing this with kids though is very helpful. highly recommend if you're looking for help to declutter and simplify.
It was helpful to get me started. A little la-de-da in spots but you just roll your eyes and take from it what you can use. Within several days I had gotten rid of 13 bags of stuff from my bedroom and I have been dilligent about not bringing new things in.
I loved this book! Not only for the practical tips on HOW but even more so for the emphasis on the WHY! Zoe laid out several reasons why a family may want to implement a more "minimalist" lifestyle and really helped me understand if I didn't have a good grasp on my "why" I would never follow through! I really took this to heart and figured out my "WHY" and then the rest just fell into place. I can honestly say I am already breathing easier and feeling less stress as my house becomes clutter free for the first time in years!
Full of practical ideas. I love this book because it is full of things you can actually do rather than being a book of abstract philosophy. It has helped me focus on what is really important for me to do and eliminate time spent dealing with things I don't actually need in my life.This book has helped me achieve more freedom from the chains of a cluttered sometimes chaotic life. No more running hither and fro stealing my life from myself because of so many trivial things that now seem wholly unimportant.
