Also very disappointed like some other reviewers. A lot of big scientifically worded psycho-babble & no practical horsemen advice. The whole book could be summed up in one sentence: try to have a soul-connection with your horse (which most horse-lovers strive for anyway. ) Not worth reading or paying for.
Don’t be afraid to change your paradigm in how we relate to non human animals, it’s totally worth to get deep into and explore. I am a horse professional that gived the chance to learn all over again how to relate to our loving horses. Try it!
Waste of money. I was hoping to learn something new but this book was repetitive and offered nothing of interest. I was extremely dissapointed.

The good message in this book could be summed up in two to three pages. The rest is not worth reading the same concepts get repeated. It's not worth the money.
The only other review of this book to date gave it one star. I wonder if we read the same book! I couldn't put it down and read it in one day. This is a ground breaking and important book which challenges our current way of viewing horses and offers us an insight into a new way to work with them and be in relationship with them. For me, the only way to be with a horse is as 2 species coming together co-operatively and in my experience with my own horses it works so much better than traditional ways and methods. We don't have 'methods' to be with another human, so why do we make horsemanship so complicated and hierarchical? This book offers is a fresh paradigm and is long overdue in this age. .

A brief book (about an hour to read) with mostly common sense advice on saving money: Clip coupons, stock up on things that last, ask you insurance agent if you are getting the best deal. Best advice: Get the Amazon Store card and save 5% on all Amazon purchases. Worst advice: Fill out online surveys for cash (I did the math and on one site (Toluna) it would take 6-8 full hours of filling out surveys to earn a $10 gift card.) Worth the $9.99.
I am a David Pogue fan. Every book of his that I have read, is amazing in it's content, However I believe he had outdone himself with this book. I found it packed with very useful. I liked it so well, a copy of it will be trees of my three adult children this Christmas.
Like all of David Pogue's books, his books are packed with operating tips, wisdom and a friendly humor. I picked up Money because I enjoyed his computer book and Life Hacks and because I've seen him on television. This is not deep philosophical theory on money... it's common-sense advice on how to not pay so much in everyday situations. From Air Travel to Razor Blades, there's something for everyone here.
This book has some great money saving tips which I have used already. I love his books because they give very simple, easy to understand life hacks that we can all benefit from. It's worth a read
Coming from a 25 year old, this book is pretty useful. About 50 percent of it I knew due to being in school and being knowledgeable about the internet but the other 50 percent is just good stuff to know. Being that the book is only 10 bucks on kindle I would buy it if you are looking for ways to save. Granted, they aren't life changing, but will help your finances if you do follow through. I will most likely get his other book about life hacks too just so I am not missing anything. I do have a long time to live and should know the short cuts early on.

This is a very quick read filled with good ideas. You are just about guaranteed to find one or two tips to get you started saving money.
Good book. Much of it I already knew and is common sense, but you are bound to come across a couple of things well worth the price of the book and the 2-3 hours to read it. I heard him on KERA (NPR Radio) "Think", and most of the good ideas were discussed on there.
