Bought for preschool classroom. There’s more emotions in there that the 2 year olds could quite understand but still effective. The idea is to have the kiddos point to the picture that shows how they’re feeling rather than using hands & teeth on their friends. It’s also a fun tool when practicing our facial expressions

Sweet illustrations make it suitable for very young children just learning to turn pages, yet appropriate for even 6-8 year olds, learning to express their feelings.. Kudos to Hayley Rose for such a timely book in today's emotional climate.
Very engaging book for early readers! Fifo invites children to explore and consider a range of emotions, leading to natural dialogue about their feelings. Reading the book to my four year old grandson prompted facial expressions very similar to Fifo's and encouraged him to verbalize his thoughts. Exceptional and thoughtful subject matter for this age group!
Fifo- Today I feel Emotion is a great tool to help teach youngsters about emotions. How to express them and recognize them in others.Hayley's use of 'faces' for each emotion is invaluable for role playing and learning to identify emotions.I can't recommend this book enough!
I bought this book for my granddaughter. i loved the idea of teaching small children it's ok to have feelings. super cute book. Highly recommended by this Grandma.
The kids really enjoyed this book and loved making the faces along with Fifo. Silly was a big hit. The large mirror at the end was a great touch. The whole family loved talking about what made us happy or sad, etc. An added bonus to our library.

The author, Hayley Rose, names a full range of feelings and the artist, Mark Sean Wilson, captures them with original and whimsical illustrations that kids can relate to. A wonderful addition for parents and teachers for their toolkit. Our grandson was engaged and thrilled.
